Honestly, I'm not quite sure where this idea came from in the first place.
I suspect on some Wednesday while sitting on the hill and generally talking randomness to a friend (stranger things than this have arisen from these conversations; for example, brandishing a yardstick at the sky and yelling quotes from Braveheart while the entire lacrosse team stares). If you live in the US, are over eighteen, and are not intending on voting anyways, why not do this instead: go get a ballot, check 'other' and write 'Alexander Anderson'. Having now undermined the democratic system, I'm going to take a nap. I fully intend this to be the last piece of Hellsing fanart I will be posting; not that it isn't a great series, not that I don't enjoy drawing fanart of it, but that I'm sick of it being the only thing that people care to look at when I put so much more time and effort into my OC work. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Fanime was this big anime convention in the Bay Area, CA... It's what I've been getting ready for the last two months, getting my costume together and whatnot.
