Bad Day...by ~drizzt-d

If anyone is (a) having a depressing day, (b) needs some comic relief, and (c) has any interest in Jarlaxle and Entreri, then you definitely need to find and read the short stories 'Of Music and Men' and 'Bad Day for Ballads' by Ariel-d. I was laughing like a looney yesterday while reading them. This probably won't make much sense unless you do, but I drew this from 'Bad Day...'
I love that story. And the Evil Flute. Ahahahaha

I laugh whenever I view this thing. It's so darned cute! I'll tell you what I told Ariel-D on the story itself: doesn't it seem like Entreri's really the parent in this relationship? Like, Jarlaxle's responsible party? This really sounds like the whiny little kid being dragged from the park. *laughing hysterically*

"Jarlaxle HAS no sense of boundaries!" Oh my gods... that sounds almost exactly like something a friend of mine said about someone I know... Yeah, Entreri's definitely the parent XD Jarlaxle seems like some strange mix of the whiney, immature little kid and a dirty old man (the latter of which he really is).

Ah, if you like the friendship side of Jarlaxle's personality, you might really like those longer fics of Ariel's. They dig a lot deeper into that.

You're right there. And yet, the charm of his character lies in the presence of a more playful yet compassionate side... The side that goes to so much trouble helping Entreri recover his heart. But he's so stupid, it's easy to forget. Ah, Jarlaxle... Yes, you can't imagine how much I'm laughing. Artemis has a hard life of it.
